Anything you're thinking about, a competitor is already building. Ideas don't keep, and there's no luxury of time to leave one on the back burner. We start building on day one. I work AI-first so that pace is sustainable, and I don't trade quality to get it.
I develop exclusively with AI now, on frontier models like Fable 5.1 and GPT-6 Astra. What makes it work is 25+ years of evaluating systems end to end. This isn't autopilot: I read the code, run the system, and own the result.
The loop is short: a prototype, then an MVP, then features, each one live online as soon as it's ready. You see working software week by week, not a demo at the end.
Technology decisions are downstream of commercial ones. I make them early, state them plainly, and build towards a plan you can see.
I'm commercially minded. I look at the whole business to find the real requirements before choosing any technology. If it helps the venture, I'll work alongside you on marketing, copy and branding as well as the code.
I move across the full stack, front end and back end, to draw up a system plan and build towards it. You get clear technology decisions with the reasoning attached, not a menu to choose from.

Bring me an idea and a budget and I'll build it end to end, solo or with a small team. An existing designer on board is welcome. I don't join large companies or established teams; I come in at the start, on greenfield work, exclusively.
You hand me a brief and I work independently, on my own clock. I'm generally around during business hours on Slack, but the work never waits on a meeting.
No daily stand-up, no hour-long weekly. Updates come over Slack in short, frequent bursts as things ship, so you always know exactly where we are in the plan.
Linear holds both my brain dump and the plan. It's our shared barometer: what's in progress, what's shipping next, and where the project stands at any moment.
Simple terms, agreed up front: a fixed monthly retainer for the build, and a modest share of the upside that reflects the role I play afterwards.
I work on a set monthly budget of around $20,000. That buys my focus for the engagement: the plan, the architecture, the build, the pipeline, the launch. No hourly tracking, no change-request invoices.
Alongside the retainer I take a modest equity stake. How much depends on the role you want me in once we've launched: an ongoing fractional CTO who stays on the hook for the technology, or a consultant who remains available for development as you need it.
